With three double bedrooms, there’s room for up to six guests to find a little piece of rustic bliss in one of the UK’s most desirable tourist towns.
Our delightful shabby chic self-catering property has access to a large public green courtesy of the Globe at Hay perfect for lawn games or a sunbathe, or enjoy the afternoon sun in the cottage’s enclosed gardens complete with furniture.
The kitchen, modern in style and complete with essential amenities including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher.
The rustic style lounge, complete with a wood burner, is the perfect setting for you to relax after a day exploring. Sit back, catch up and watch a film on the HD TV, or play board games in the dining area with a table and chairs for six.
Location
The location of Smallbrook is prime; it serves as a central starting point for all the adventures you might intend to experience whilst you are visiting Hay-on-Wye. Surrounded by sublime natural beauty, the bungalow is as previously mentioned a 5 minute walk away from the river Wye which has beautiful nature walks following the river’s bends, as well as canoeing and swimming in the warmer months.
Further, if you are seeking a more extensive hike the black mountains and Hay Bluff are a short drive away from Hay town itself. Hay town makes for an energizing day out; the town has an eclectic selection of shops and various markets to indulge in, from quirky bookshops to award winning café’s and butchers.
The Globe at Hay
The cottage is located behind The Globe at Hay, one of Wales’ favourite live arts venues offering a whole host of entertainment including art exhibitions, comedy, community events and live music.
